In reality, there are 100s of online reviews from patients who have had a leak. This is not some Mickey Mouse complication, but a gastric leak is life threatening and you need emergency surgery to fix it. 

Also what is not reported is how many patients die from this complication. So select your surgeon well. Speak to other patients who have undergone the procedure. There are way too many so called bariatric surgeons doing these procedures; some who are downright dangerous.
